Sunrise Pines Ornament: Miniature Oil Painting on Birch Round

$95.00

This is a handmade, hand-painted ornament featuring a group of snow-laden pines enjoying a warm sunrise. The sunrise casts a golden yellow glow on the snow while the shadows are vibrant blue, reflecting the sky. Into the distance, mountains spread as far as the eye can see.

This is vibrant and warm woodland painting to add to your art collection. It also makes an excellent gift to any nature lover.

DETAILS:

Oil paint and high-gloss varnish.
Triple-gessoed, sanded, birch round.
Gold-colored ornament string.
1.25 inches diameter by 0.4 thickness.
Certificate of authenticity included.
Comes in a black velvet box tied with a ribbon.

CONIFEROUS FORESTS:

Coniferous forests are composed primarily of cone-bearing needle-leaved or scale-leaved evergreen trees, found in areas that have long winters. (Source: Britannica.) Evergreens are known for retaining their leaves through the year and into the following growing season.

Coniferous forests cover mountains in many parts of the world. Pines, spruces, firs, and larches are the dominant trees in coniferous forests. They are similar in shape and height and often form a nearly uniform stand.

The use of evergreen trees, wreaths, and garlands to symbolize eternal life was a custom of the ancient Egyptians, Chinese, and Hebrews. Because evergreen trees keep their color and health all winter long, they bring a sense of hope during Christmastime.

COLOR MATCH QUEEN:

I’m known as the Color Match Queen of social media because I have the skill of mimicking colors realistically with my paint.
