The Location and Crab Apple Trees:This painting was created at a boat launch in North Tonawanda, NY in April of 2024. The crab apple trees are at their pique bloom for only a few short weeks of the year, so I made a priority to paint as many flowering trees as I could this spring. Crabapple trees have been treasured throughout history; they’ve been considered to banish evil while also representing love and wisdom.
