“Winter Hilltop View at Bond Lake" is an original plein air illusion crafted at Bond Lake, which has five lakes and scenic views on the Niagara Escarpment. I climbed to the top of a steep sledding hill to take advantage of the breathtaking view. The sun was bouncing off the snow, blindingly bright, which added an extra level of complexity to the color match. The resulting painting blended it with the surroundings, creating a magic winter moment. The video was posted on social media on February 15th, 2024.
