Ferris Wheel Plein Air Illusion: Limited Edition Giclee Print

DESCRIPTION

This is a signed limited-edition giclee print of a plein air illusion of the ferris wheel at the Canal Fest of the Tonawandas. I painted my canvas to blend in with the ferris wheel as best possible, in spite of challenges with lighting and foot traffic.

The video of this plein air illusion went viral on YouTube shorts, TikTok, and Instagram. On YouTube alone, this match got 20 million views. The video was posted July 17, 2023. Click here to see the full video.

This is a limited-edition print, which means there will only be 60 like this printed. The prints are numbered 1/60. Each print is personally editioned (signed, titled, and numbered) by me.

These prints are made with archival inks on acid-free, high-quality paper. This ensures the best longevity for the art print.

CANAL FEST:

Canal Fest is an 8 day, annual outdoor festival held on the banks of the Historic Erie Barge Canal. The festival features attractions, live music, and special events like chalk art or boat building contests.

I view Canal Fest as a celebration of local heritage and the success that the Erie Canal brought to Western New York. The Erie Canal was an engineering marvel completed in 1825.

The canal was the first navigable waterway connecting the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes, vastly reducing the costs of transporting people and goods across the Appalachians.
