Framed Mini Painting of Pond: Plein Air Illusion of Beaver Island NY in Autumn

DESCRIPTION

This is a framed mini plein air painting of a pond, which I painted on-site at Beaver Island. This was an illusion I created for social media, where I painted what was missing (see the video!).

DEPICTION:

It was autumn when I painted this, so the colors are softened and natural-looking. The water is a gentle light blue; the trees and foliage are tans, browns, and subtle greens.

DETAILS:

Oil paints and varnish on card. Painting itself is nearly 2x3 inches. White frame is 3.5 x 4.5 inches.
