DESCRIPTION

This is a limited edition print of my original oil painting “Blush.” “Blush” is based on my experiences of picking Florida lemons as a young teenager. When I made “Blush”, I painted the lemons with a peachy glow, like they are blushing. Click here to hear the full story behind the original painting this print is of.

This is a limited-edition print, which means there will only be 30 like this printed. The prints are numbered 1/30. Each print is personally editioned (signed, titled, and numbered) by me.

SIGNATURE:

This print has been signed in pencil on the front under the image, as typical for limited edition prints. The writing bears the edition number, the title, and my name.

UNFRAMED:

This print is unframed. If you want to frame this on your own, you’d simply find a frame that has a mat with a 6x8 inch opening. It’s a very convenient size to frame.

LEMONS:

The lemon plant forms an evergreen spreading bush or small tree. (Source: Britannica.) Its young oval leaves have a distinctively reddish tint. Later, they turn green.

The BBC claims that all citrus fruits can trace their roots to the southeast foothills of the Himalayas. These plants spread out of the Himalayas to southeast Asia and then to the rest of the world.
