Mountain Range Necklace: Italian Alps Micro Painting on Sea Glass
This necklace bears the Italian Alps, which I oil painted on Niagara River sea glass.
DEPICTION:
In the foreground, fields of greenish-golden grasses framed by dark trees and hills. The mountain range is the focal point of this painting: the mountains are painted in blues, purples, and oranges, set against a purply-blue sky.
DETAILS:
Frosty white/semi-transparent sea glass from Niagara River
Oil paint and glossy resin varnish
18 inch 18k gold-plated chain and bail (shiny and sturdy)
Black velvet necklace box included (all sea glass and coin necklaces will come in a velvet box now)

The products were consumed and discarded
Water, sand, and wind soften the broken bits of glass
I find it on a sandy beach and turn it into something new
