This is a miniature oil painting of Scottish Highland cattle, inspired by the Outlander series. The painting comes with a custom-stained rustic easel.

The painting is approximately 1.5 x 2.25 inches. Initialed on front and signed on back.
The easel is 4 x 4.3 inches.
Made with gesso, oil paints, and varnish.

HIGHLAND CATTLE FACTS:

The Highland is a Scottish breed of rustic cattle. It originated in the Scottish Highlands and the Outer Hebrides islands of Scotland and has long horns and a long shaggy coat. It is a hardy breed, able to withstand the intemperate conditions in the region. It is reared primarily for beef and has been exported to several other countries (source: Animalia).

DISPLAY:

The painting can be displayed two ways. The first way is simply on the easel. The second is that there is a hanger glued on the back; you could hang the painting on a nail or pin.
