Mountain Goat at Glacier National Park: Framed Micro Painted Quarter

$135.00
DESCRIPTION

This is a framed oil painted coin of Glacier National Park, Montana. In this painting, a mountain goat climbs over rocky slopes, with a view of Mount Reynolds in the distance. The sky is a striking blue with candy-like clouds of pink above. I used great care to color match the colors of Mount Reynolds and the mountain goat realistically. I used a very fine brush to assist me in capturing the tiniest of details, including the hooves on the goat.

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK

Nestled in the heart of the Rockies, Glacier National Park stands as a testament to both natural beauty and conservation efforts. Formed over millions of years by the slow movement of glaciers, this stunning landscape harbors not only breathtaking vistas but also invaluable ecosystems. Its creation and preservation represent a crucial victory for conservation, safeguarding precious habitats for countless species amidst the pressures of human development. As one of the few remaining intact ecosystems in the United States, Glacier National Park serves as a vital refuge for biodiversity and a living laboratory for scientific research. With its towering peaks, pristine lakes, and ancient glaciers, it reminds us of the profound importance of protecting our planet's natural wonders for future generations.

MOUNTAIN GOATS

Mountain goats, with their shaggy coats and majestic horns, are the nimble inhabitants of the rugged cliffs and peaks of Glacier National Park. These sure-footed creatures navigate steep slopes with ease, their powerful hooves gripping even the most precarious ledges. Adapted to the harsh alpine environment, they endure freezing temperatures and scarce vegetation, finding sustenance in the sparse grasses and shrubs that cling to the mountainsides. As iconic symbols of wilderness, mountain goats captivate visitors with their resilience and grace, embodying the untamed spirit of the Rocky Mountains.

I’m known as the Color Match Queen of social media because I have the skill of mimicking colors realistically with my paint.
