Framed Ink Wash Painting: Tranquil Boatyard

DESCRIPTION

This is a ready to display ink wash painting of a tranquil boatyard. I made it with India ink and water on a high quality cotton paper. I carefully captured a wide range of values.

Two boats perch on the water. Behind, are mountains and a serene sky. The waves ripple and reflect the boats. Notice the fine details on the boats, including ropes and rails.

DETAILS:

India ink and water.
100% cotton paper, acid free.
Painting is 4x6 inches.
Black frame finish and double white matting with thick protective glass.
Frame is 5x7 inches matted to 4x6 inches.
(Full size of frame itself is 7x9 inches.)

DISPLAY:

This is ready to display in two ways. It can be hung on the wall using the pre-attached hook on the back. Or it can be displayed on a desktop or other surface using the fold-out easel attached to frame backing.
