This is a ready to display framed oil painting of Vermillion Lakes with the Canadian Rocky Mountains in the background.

The reflection of the mountains and sunset is reflected on the lake. The sunset is a brilliant array of pinks, purples, and blues. I painted the Rocky Mountains with careful detail, including snow capped peaks.

I’ve been fascinated and inspired by mountains for my entire life, so I was eager to paint this.
