Oil-painted Grain of Rice Necklace: Eiffel Tower
DESCRIPTIONThis necklace features a micro painting of the Eiffel Tower, France, on a grain of rice. The grain of rice is displayed inside a French-themed glass vial on a stainless steel chain.
In this painting, the Eiffel Tower is backlit by a pink and blue sunset or sunrise. Because it is backlit, the Tower appears dark and strong as it towers against the sky. Green grass is laid out before the tower.
This painting took me hours and several attempts before I was pleased with the result. I did not use a magnifying glass when creating this. I just concentrated hard.
DETAILS:
Grain of jasmine rice (uncooked, of course).
Oil paint and varnish.
18 inch stainless steel chain with lobster claw clasp.
French-themed glass vial.
Matboard inside vial (front painted metallic silver color; back is black).
Signed on back of matboard.
