The Location: I went to the Glen Falls waterfall in the historic Williamsville, NY. Glen Falls is a 27 ft cascade on Ellicott Creek. Finding that the creek was better lit than the waterfall, I chose to paint it plein air, meaning the entire painting was made outdoors, on site.
