Location: This painting of Cayuga Creek’s bank was created on-site at Como Lake Park, Lancaster, NY. Named after Lake Como in Italy, the park features the creek, shaped by Ice Age glacial meltwaters. Once used by the Cayuga Nation for fishing, it was later altered by European settlers for agriculture. Today, the creek is vital to the ecosystem and a highlight of the park's natural beauty.
